Ohana’s is on the sand in the middle of Jungut Batu, Nusa Lembongan’s main village, facing the beach where the sun goes down. It runs as three things at once: a 23-room boutique resort, a beach club with a pool at the water’s edge, and a rooftop bar one floor up that is the island’s best-known sunset spot.
The rooftop is where the reception happens. It takes up to 150 seated or cocktail-style, looks straight down the beach into the sunset, and has a roof that opens or closes depending on the weather, which is a real advantage in the shoulder months. Bigger numbers spill into the beach club below. Published hire is IDR 20,000,000 for the rooftop, around USD 1,200, and IDR 300,000,000 for a full private buy-out of the beach club, around USD 17,900, both before food and drink.
What Ohana’s does not do is ceremonies. The venue says so directly and points couples to Bar Riva, its own restaurant perched over the water a short walk away, for the vows. It also requires a Bali-based wedding planner it has agreed to work with, which we welcome. Twenty-three rooms sleep 48 adults and 16 children, and the group’s Aqua Nusa villas up the hill add around 20 more beds, so a wedding party of roughly 90 stays together. We build the ceremony, the reception and the two days either side into one schedule, and reconfirm current figures with the venue for your date.
Key details
- Ohana's does not host wedding ceremonies at the resort itself
- A Bali-based wedding planner the venue agrees to work with is required for any event they host
- Booking every room gives your group exclusive use of the resort pool and swim-up bar, but the beach club stays open to the public unless hired privately
Ceremony & reception spaces
Why we love it
The best sunset seat on the island, with a roof
The rooftop bar is the only raised beachfront position on Lembongan's main sunset beach, and it has an articulating roof that opens for a clear night and closes when the weather turns. On an island where the wet season can arrive in twenty minutes, that mechanism is worth more than it sounds.
It hosts the days around the wedding, not the ceremony
Ohana's is honest about this: welcome drinks a night or two before, the reception, and the recovery pool party the day after. For vows they point you at Bar Riva, their own restaurant over the water in the village. We plan the ceremony elsewhere and let Ohana's do what it does best.
It can sleep the whole wedding
Twenty-three rooms take 48 adults and 16 children, and the Aqua Nusa villas up the hill add another 20 beds. Around 90 people can stay inside one group, usually with parents and grandparents in the private villas and the wedding party on the sand.

Good to know
Common questions
Can we get married at Ohana's?+
You can hold the reception there, not the ceremony. The venue says plainly that it does not host wedding ceremonies and recommends Bar Riva, its own Italian restaurant over the water in Jungut Batu, for the vows. Ohana's then takes the welcome drinks, the reception and the recovery pool party the next day.
What does it cost to hire?+
The rooftop bar has a published venue hire of IDR 20,000,000, around USD 1,200, which covers exclusive use from midday until 23:30 on the day. Private hire of the whole beach club is IDR 300,000,000 a day, around USD 17,900, and varies by season. Food and drink are charged on top of both.
How many people can stay there?+
Twenty-three rooms hold 48 adults and 16 children, with about 50 guests being the natural number to book the resort out. Suites and junior suites stretch that to around 70, and the Aqua Nusa private villas add roughly 20 more, so about 90 people can stay within the same group.
Do we need a wedding planner?+
Yes, and Ohana's insists on one based in Bali who they have agreed to work with. It is a sensible rule: an island wedding needs someone on the ground coordinating boats, vendors and timings. That is exactly what we do, and we are set up to work with venues on this basis.
