Ko-Ko-Mo sits on the beach road on Gili Trawangan, looking across the strait to Lombok, and it is the venue we suggest for couples who want a full seated dinner on the island without hiring a marquee. The beachfront restaurant seats up to 100, which puts it among the larger catered spaces on Trawangan, and the food comes out of the resort’s own kitchen rather than a caterer brought in for the day.
A wedding day here stays inside one small footprint. Ceremonies happen on the sand, on the private lawn between the pool and the beach, or on the rooftop deck if you want the sun going down behind the island in your photographs. Cocktails work well on that same deck, then guests walk down to the restaurant for dinner. On an island where transport means bicycles and horse carts, keeping everything within a few dozen metres removes a lot of small problems.

Three settings, one small footprint
Sand for the ceremony, the rooftop deck for cocktails as the sun drops behind the island, then the restaurant for dinner. Nobody needs a cart between them, which on an island with no cars matters more than it sounds.

Where is the ceremony held?+
Three options the resort names: on the sand in front of the property, on the rooftop deck facing the water, or on the private lawn between the pool and the beach. The rooftop is the one we push for late-afternoon light, then everyone moves down to the restaurant for dinner.
What does a wedding there cost?+
Ko-Ko-Mo publishes no package prices. Venue use, catering, styling and villas are quoted per event and the total depends heavily on guest numbers and how much of the resort you take. We get a written quote for your date, and the resort asks for six to twelve months' notice on a preferred date in peak season.
Is Gili Trawangan in Bali?+
No. Gili Trawangan sits off the northwest coast of Lombok, in West Nusa Tenggara province. It is about an hour and a half to two hours by fast boat from Padang Bai in east Bali, closer to two and a half from Serangan, and there are no cars on the island. The resort arranges a cidomo horse cart from the harbour. We bring wedding groups over a day early in case a crossing is cancelled.
