Hotel Lumi sits on the sunset side of Gili Trawangan and it is the property we point to when a couple cares about how the wedding will look. The design is deliberate in a way most of the island is not: white timber cottages, canopy beds under gauze, island textiles, and a collaboration with Les Fauves Island running through the pool bar and one of the room categories.
Ceremonies happen on the hotel’s own beach, facing open water into the afternoon light. Their wedding photographs show what that gives you: dried-palm and pampas arches instead of tropical greenery, burnt-orange styling on long tables under strung lights, petals thrown into a white sky. Receptions move to Lumi Restaurant on the sand, to the pool with its bar, or to the Lumi BBQ, and with six food and drink venues on one site a three-day wedding weekend can change scene every night without anyone leaving.
The address is Jalan Sunset Point, which puts the hotel on the west coast away from the harbour and the strip. Nothing is published on distance, and guests in practice take a cidomo cart or walk it in around 20 minutes. The most design-conscious hotel on the island
Lumi is the one property on Trawangan built with a point of view: white timber cottages, canopy beds, a collaboration with Les Fauves Island running through the pool bar and one room category. Photographs from here look different to the rest of the island, which matters when everything else is white sand and blue water.

The hotel sits on the west coast facing open water, so the ceremony hour and the golden light line up naturally. Their own wedding images are all shot into that light: dried-palm arches, petals, and burnt-orange styling that suits it better than white florals do.

Can you get married at Hotel Lumi?+
Yes. The hotel hosts oceanfront ceremonies on its own beach and receptions in the restaurant, by the pool or on the sand. It does not publish packages, so the day is scoped and quoted per event around your guest count and how many of the venues you use.
How much does it cost?+
Nothing is published. Venue use, catering, styling and rooms are quoted per wedding. We get a written quote for your date so you can compare it against Ombak Sunset on the same coast, which does publish a starting figure.
Where on Gili Trawangan is it?+
On Jalan Sunset Point, on the west side of the island, which is the sunset coast and a quieter beach for a ceremony than the east side offers. The hotel publishes no distance from the harbour; in practice guests take a cidomo cart or walk it in around 20 minutes.
Is Gili Trawangan in Bali?+
No. The Gili Islands lie off the northwest coast of Lombok in West Nusa Tenggara province. The fast boat from Bali runs about an hour and a half to two hours from Padang Bai and closer to two and a half from Serangan, and it can be cancelled in weather, so we bring wedding groups over a day early.
