HOMM Saranam Baturiti
Mountain resort with ballrooms, Baturiti
Photos: HOMM Saranam Baturiti
HOMM Saranam Baturiti is the highland venue that can take a full guest list. It sits on the Baturiti climb between Tabanan and Bedugul, with rice terraces running to the edge of the property and rainforest behind it, and it holds 81 rooms, suites and private pool villas as part of Banyan Group. The twin ballrooms, Saranam 1 and Saranam 2, open into one room for up to 240 guests theatre style, with three more meeting rooms below the lobby adding another 210 between them.
For the ceremony the resort works its gardens, and the deck aisle in the forest is where its own wedding photographs come from. Dinner then moves indoors or onto the pool lawn beside Cafe Toya, where the lagoon-style infinity pool sits under the terraced white buildings. Samiya Restaurant handles all-day dining with the valley view, and 8LEMENTS Spa runs open-air treatment rooms for the morning before.
The resort advertises a garden wedding with its own wedding team but publishes no prices, so every celebration is quoted per couple. We get that quote in writing against your date and guest count, and we reconfirm the current figures with the venue before anything is signed.

Why we love it
The only highland venue that can seat a real guest list
Everywhere else up here tops out around 50 people. Saranam has twin ballrooms that combine for 240 theatre style, three meeting rooms adding another 210, and 81 rooms, suites and pool villas on site. If you want cool mountain air and 150 guests in the same wedding, this is close to the only answer on Bali.
An outdoor ceremony with the fallback next door
The garden ceremony runs on a timber deck aisle cut into the rainforest, which is where the resort's own wedding photographs come from. Ten minutes away, under a roof, sit the ballrooms. In highlands that make their own weather, having both on one property is the difference between a plan and a gamble.
Half the drive of Munduk
Baturiti is on the climb from Tabanan up to Bedugul, about 53 km from the airport and around an hour and a half to two hours depending on the run through Tabanan. The resort counts three peaks from its balconies, Batukaru, Pohen and Sanghyang, and Jatiluwih is a 20-minute drive for portraits. Guests get all of that without the three-hour transfer to the far north.

Common questions
Can you get married at HOMM Saranam Baturiti?+
Yes. The resort markets a Garden Wedding with a dedicated wedding team, running ceremonies in the gardens and receptions in the ballrooms. It publishes no package prices, so we send your date and guest count and come back with a written quote.
How many guests can it hold?+
The twin ballrooms, Saranam 1 and Saranam 2, open into a single room for up to 240 theatre style, and there are three further meeting rooms adding 210 between them. Seated dinner numbers are lower than theatre numbers, so we confirm the exact layout with their events team before you commit to a list.
Is this Bedugul or Tabanan?+
Both, in practice. The address is Baturiti in Tabanan regency, on the road that climbs to Bedugul and Lake Beratan. You get highland air and rice-terrace views, and you are around 20 minutes below the lake.
How long is the drive from the airport?+
Roughly an hour and a half to two hours for about 53 km, most of it slow through Tabanan. That is the shortest transfer of any proper highland venue, which matters when you are moving 100 or more guests. Even so we would block rooms on site for anyone travelling far.
