Sandy Bay sits on the west coast of Nusa Lembongan, right beside Devil’s Tear, on a white sand cove that faces the sunset. It is a beach club first, with a pool at the water’s edge and a restaurant behind it, and it has grown into the island’s most structured wedding venue: a ten-room boutique hotel called The Shacks, a four-bedroom beachfront villa called The Beach House, a spa and a boutique, all on the same stretch.
What makes it easy to work with is that everything is published. The venue’s own weddings kit sets out four formats with real numbers. A non-exclusive event for up to 60 guests runs on a minimum spend of IDR 500,000 ++ a head, around USD 30. A full buy-out of the beach club seats 160 or takes 400 standing, needs 85 guests in low season or 120 in high, and runs at IDR 1,250,000 to 1,500,000 ++ a head, roughly USD 74 to USD 89. The Beach House takes 70 seated on its lawn, The Shacks 60. Each exclusive option comes with a room block, and in-house planning is charged in bands from IDR 20,000,000 for up to 30 guests, about USD 1,200.
Decorations, lighting, equipment hire and outside vendors sit outside those figures, and food and drink prices exclude tax and service, so the headline numbers are a floor rather than a total. Sandy Bay puts its whole wedding structure in writing: four formats, minimum guest counts by season, minimum spend per head, planning fees by band. On an island where most quotes arrive as a single opaque figure, being able to model a budget before you commit is worth a lot.

Sixty guests over a long lunch with the club still open, a full buy-out for 160 seated, a villa wedding for 70 on the lawn at The Beach House, or a takeover of the ten-room Shacks for 60. Same coastline, four very different budgets, and we can price all four side by side.
Devil's Tear is next door
The blowhole on the west cliffs is a two-minute walk from the club and it is at its most dramatic in the last hour of light. It is the single best portrait spot on Lembongan and you do not have to drive anywhere to use it.

How much does a wedding at Sandy Bay Beach Club cost?+
There is no flat venue hire. Each format runs on a minimum spend per head: IDR 500,000 ++ for a non-exclusive event of up to 60, IDR 750,000 ++ from the events menu at The Beach House or The Shacks, and IDR 1,250,000 to 1,500,000 ++ per head for a full beach club buy-out depending on season. That is roughly USD 30 to USD 89 a head before tax and service, plus the room block and the planning fee.

Do we have to book accommodation as well?+
Yes, for every exclusive format. A beach club buy-out comes with The Beach House villa for two nights, a Beach House wedding needs three nights with the event in the middle, and a Shacks wedding needs all ten rooms plus the Batu Sepatu pool villa for two nights. Between them the two properties sleep 30.
Is Sandy Bay open to the public during a wedding?+
It depends on which option you pick. The non-exclusive format runs alongside normal service, which suits a relaxed lunch. The exclusive buy-out closes the club to everyone else, and that is the one we recommend for a ceremony and a full evening. The club otherwise runs 11:00 to 23:00 daily.
