Food is the largest single line in most Bali wedding budgets, and it is the part your guests will still be talking about a year later. It is also the easiest thing to get wrong from ten thousand kilometres away, which is why we do not let anyone sign a catering contract without eating the food first.

What the options actually look like

Most weddings we plan end up mixing two of these: canapés while the photographs happen, then a proper sit-down or a family-style feast.

Tastings are not optional

Every caterer we put in front of you runs a tasting with the actual chef and the actual menu. Photographs of food tell you nothing. We book tastings for couples who are already in Bali, and for couples planning from abroad we schedule them into the first trip.

Cooking in this climate

Bali heat decides more of the menu than most couples expect. Some dishes hold beautifully through a long outdoor service and others are finished in fifteen minutes on a warming tray. We steer the menu towards food that arrives at the table the way it left the kitchen, and we plan the service times around when the sun is off the dining area.

At a villa the kitchen itself is built for the day, since a domestic kitchen cannot produce eighty covers. That temporary setup is part of the quote and part of the event rentals plan.

What it costs

Catering is priced per guest and the service style moves that number more than the ingredients do. The budget guide sets out how food compares with the rest of the day, and the price simulator will scale it against your own guest count. If you are also planning dessert, the wedding cake page covers what survives the heat.

How we work

1

Shape the menu

We build a menu around your taste, your venue, and how you want to eat.

2

You try the food before you commit, and adjust anything you want.

3

Served on the day

A trusted caterer delivers and serves, matched to your style of reception.

Why couples choose us

You taste it before you commit

Every caterer we put in front of you runs a proper tasting, with the actual menu and the actual chef. Nobody should sign off a wedding dinner from a PDF.

Menus that survive an outdoor service

Bali heat is unkind to some dishes and fine with others. We steer the menu towards food that reaches the table the way it left the kitchen.

Dietary needs handled quietly

Vegetarian, halal, gluten free, allergies. We collect it with the RSVPs and brief the kitchen, so nobody negotiates with a waiter at their friend’s wedding.

Estimated cost · per guest

IDR 720,000 - 2,200,000
USD 40 - 120

Service style sets the per-guest figure before anything else: a grazing table and a plated four-course dinner are different operations. Drinks, staffing ratios, and venue corkage are usually quoted on top. Put a number against your own day in the price simulator.

Good to know

Common questions

Can we taste the food first?+

Yes, and you should. We arrange tastings so you choose with your palate, not a brochure.

Can you handle dietary needs?+

Of course. Vegetarian, vegan, allergies, and kids' menus are all handled properly, not as an afterthought.

Beach barbecue or seated dinner?+

Either. We match the style of service to your venue, from a relaxed beach grill to formal plated dining.

Will Indonesian food be too spicy for our guests?+

Not the way it is served at a wedding. Balinese cooking is aromatic more than fiery, and the heat sits in the sambal on the side rather than in the dish. We usually run a mixed menu, with a couple of genuinely local plates alongside things everyone recognises, so nobody goes hungry out of caution.

How does catering work at a villa with no real kitchen?+

The caterer builds a temporary one. Gas burners, prep tables, refrigeration, and a wash station arrive on the truck and go into a service area out of sight. It is entirely normal here, and it is why villa catering costs more per head than the same menu at a resort.

What about drinks and corkage?+

Drinks are usually quoted separately from food, either as a package per person per hour or on consumption. Imported wine and spirits carry heavy Indonesian duty, so they cost far more than you would expect. Some venues let you bring your own and charge corkage, which is often the cheaper route, and we work out which way round is better for your list.
