Pramana Natura is the one place on Nusa Penida that built a wedding space on purpose. The Natura Chapel is a round white deck pushed out over the cliff at Sebunibus, water on three sides, the Lembongan mangroves to the left and Mount Agung on the Bali mainland straight ahead. Everywhere else on this island a ceremony gets staged on a terrace or a lawn and made to work. Here it does not need making to work.

The rest of the resort supports the day rather than competing with it: 32 ocean-view suites and one-bedroom pool villas stepped down the slope, a spa for the morning, a long infinity pool on the cliff for sunset drinks, and the Acropora restaurant under a soaring bamboo vault with the volcano framed in the opening. A wedding here runs ceremony on the deck, cocktails at the pool, dinner under the bamboo, and nobody moves more than 200 metres.

The practical argument is the harbour. Sebunibus is minutes from Toyapakeh, so guests arrive without the hour of broken road that most Penida venues demand. There is no published wedding package, so we quote the ceremony, styling, and catering with the resort against your numbers, and we reconfirm current figures and availability for your date.

Why we love it

A ceremony deck, not a corner of a lawn

The Natura Chapel is a round white platform cantilevered off the cliff with the water on three sides. Almost every other Penida venue improvises a ceremony on a terrace or a patch of grass. This one was built for it, which shows in the photographs and in how little styling it needs.

Mount Agung across the water

The resort faces north-west from Sebunibus, so the view runs from the Lembongan mangroves round to Mount Agung on the Bali mainland, with the sun going down over the strait. The bamboo restaurant frames it like a window, and it is the best dinner view on this side of the island.

Ten minutes from the boat

Penida punishes you for distance: the roads are slow and the crossing is tiring. Sebunibus sits close to Toyapakeh harbour, so guests are at the resort within minutes of stepping off the fast boat instead of an hour of switchbacks. On this island that matters more than it sounds.

Good to know

Common questions

Can you get married at Pramana Natura Nusa Penida?+

Yes. The resort has a dedicated wedding facility, the Natura Chapel, a round ceremony deck on the cliff edge, plus the Acropora restaurant and pool terrace for dinner and drinks afterwards. There is no published package, so we scope the ceremony, styling, and catering with the resort for your date and guest count.

Where exactly is it on Nusa Penida?+

At Sebunibus in Desa Sakti, on the north-west coast of Nusa Penida, which is part of Bali's Klungkung regency. It is one of the closest resorts to Toyapakeh harbour, so the transfer after the 30 to 45 minute fast boat from Sanur is short by Penida standards.

How many guests does the chapel take?+

It is built for intimate ceremonies. The deck is a compact round platform on the cliff, which suits two people or a small group rather than rows of chairs. Dinner then moves to the bamboo restaurant or the pool terrace, and we size the format with the resort once we know your numbers.

Can guests stay on site?+

Yes, there are 32 rooms and villas, from ocean-view suites to one-bedroom pool villas, so a small wedding party can take over a block of them. We always keep everyone on the island overnight rather than crossing back to Sanur after dinner.
