The interiors of the villa makes for a pretty and picturesque sight. Villa Shalimar has a contemporary architecture, and there is a focus on creating an open-concept design that allows for plenty of light in the villa. Step into the villa, and you will be welcomed by the sight of a Buddha Statue, and a pathway built into a lush garden containing waterfalls, lotus ponds and aromatic Frangipani trees.
Villa Shalimar is a complex containing a total of three separate villas – Villa Kalima, Villa Makanda and Villa Cantik. The complex is a versatile accommodation that is suitable for large groups of friends, as well as smaller groups of families or couples looking for a private and intimate setting.
Villa Kalima contains six bedrooms, and these rooms are spread across three levels. All bedrooms contain an en suite bathroom. Villa Makanda has four bedrooms located across two levels, while Villa Cantik contains two bedrooms on a single level. All the bathrooms are well-equipped with rain-shower facilities and bathtubs.
The interiors of Villa Shalimar are lovely, but the grounds of the villa may prove to be more enchanting and enticing. Little touches can also be added to transform the garden into a romantic setting for the wedding party. Tiny fairy light bulbs can be strung along the trunks of the towering palm trees spread out across the lawn. We recommend adding decorative lanterns – when strung across the garden, they appear to be floating orbs of light as the sky darkens, and create a stunning sight.
We have another tip to share – do bedeck the expansive pool centered in the middle of the lawn with floating candles, lighting ornaments and floral decorations. Wait patiently for nightfall to beckon, and watch as the purple and pink shades in the evening sky darken to hues of velvety blue, for the luminous lights along the pool creates an unforgettable sight…
