Grand and majestic, Atas Ombak is a villa that promises to wow all who venture onto her grounds.
The sight of the capacious garden that the villa sits on left us in awe. Measuring an impressive 6,600 square metres, the well-maintained garden makes a pretty and picturesque sight, for frangipanis, fig trees, coconut palms and lotus ponds decorate its emerald grounds.
Upon entering the villa, guests will first set their eyes on the large entrance hall in the middle of the villa. Simple but stately, the hall is furnished minimally, and contains a sizable dining table that can seat ten guests.

One of our favourite features of Atas Ombak is its main living pavilion. Large and airy, this open-spaced pavilion will be a refreshing change of environment for urbanites, and will greatly appeal to guests who enjoy getting in touch with nature. The remaining pavilions, consisting of the bedrooms and other communal living areas, are fashioned after traditional Balinese abodes, and are located separately across the grounds of the villa.
Despite the beauty of the outdoor areas of Atas Ombak, it is hard not to be drawn towards the bedrooms, for it charms guests with beautiful, garden-themed bathrooms, and vaulted alang alang thatched roofs. These bedrooms are well-designed to allow guests to enjoy the view of the comely garden grounds of the villa, for they contain glass walls stretching from the floor to the ceiling.
What are the unique features of Atas Ombak?
We cannot deny that Atas Ombak does possess a special charm. The commodious grounds, as well as the simple but tasteful architecture of the villa, gives it an air of grandeur and majesty that is hard to discern in other modernised villas.
Do make time to wander about leisurely in the garden, for you will find a plunge pool amidst the grounds, framed by an alluring balé. Personally, we do not think that there could be a more luxurious spot for admiring the beauty surrounding Atas Ombak!
Certain guests may bemoan the lack of amenities found in other large, modernised villas, such as a gymnasium, or a spa room. However, they will be pleased to disover that Atas Ombak is a member of the Canggu Club. This serves as a bonus, for the membership provides guests with access to a variety of facilities, such as a fitness room, spa room, tennis and squash courts, as well as a football pitch.

We have been told that the sheer size of Atas Ombak makes it a highly popular choice for large scale weddings and events. Having viewed the villa, we must agree that it can comfortably accommodate guest numbers of up totaling at approximately one hundred and fifty.
It is also perfect for couples who desire a gorgeous view of the sea, and value having direct access to the beach. This distinguishes Atas Ombak from most villas boasting panoramic views of the ocean, for they are often located along the cliff-tops, and do not provide guests with direct access to the beach.
