Located along the coast of Pererenan beach, the Pantai Lima estate consists a total of five luxury villas.
Villa Waringin, Villa Melissa, Villa Sound of the Sea and Villa Ambra are located along the coasts, and offer its guests with views of the sea. The fifth abode, Villa Mary, is situated amongst the rice fields, with a river running by the side.
With the exception of the six-bedroomed Villa Waringin, all other villas contain a total of five bedrooms. Lucky guests residing within the Pantai Lima estate also gain access to shared entertainment amenities, including a tennis court, gymnasium and a spacious seminar room measuring 250 square metres.

A Beautiful Walkway…
We thought that the architecture of this villa was absolutely stunning. A long walkway leading from the main entrance to the living room of the villa was constructed, with a narrow strip of water running from the entrance to the outdoor pool at the opposite end of the villa. From the entrance, one gets a glimpse of the lawn beyond the living room, as well as the picturesque view of the ocean. Make your way down the corridor, and take in the breathtaking scenery before your eyes as the view of the sea comes into sight.
This narrow walkway is a unique feature that makes Villa Melissa a great venue for holding wedding ceremonies in. We find that the pathway resembles wedding aisles found in churches and chapels. It will appeal to couples who want to have traditional wedding processes akin to those held in churches, as the bride can walk down the corridor with her father or a companion. In addition, the walkway also serves as a perfect setting for capturing beautiful wedding photography pictures.
The interiors of the villa are decorated in a contemporary style, and contain a combination of traditional and modern Balinese design elements. One of our favourite places within the villa is the sitting area located on the second floor in between the bedrooms. Airy and comfortable, it is a perfect spot to enjoy the magnificent view of the sea and refreshing gusts of salty sea breeze.
What is the outdoor setting like?
Villa Melissa is a rare gem located in Canggu, a region well-known for views of lush, emerald rice fields. The villa is one in a handful that offers guests with an unobstructed view of the clear, turquoise sea.
The lawn of the villa is spacious, and contains two swimming pools. Beach-lovers keen to explore the sandy coasts beyond the compounds of the villa should take note not to venture into the deep blue waters along the beach. This is so as the presence of strong currents and undertows, as well as the lack of a lifeguard makes swimming or surfing in the waters an unwise choice.

Accommodation for Larger Numbers of Guests
We find that this villa will appeal to wedding couples who would like to invite a larger number of relatives and friends to reside with them. They can arrange for their guests to be accommodated in one of the five individual villas within the Pantai Lima estate. As such, the guests get to enjoy the convenience of staying in close proximity to the wedding venue, as well as the privacy of having their own villa.

In addition, the complex houses shared facilities such as a tennis court, gymnasium and seminar room. With an array of amenities located with the compound, we doubt that your guests will want to venture beyond the cosy comforts of the villa. However, those who are keen on exploring the sights and sceneries that Bali offers will be pleased to know that the trendy Seminyak shopping belt is not located far off, and requires a twenty minutes’ drive to reach.
Beautiful Lawn
The spacious and neatly manicured lawn of Villa Melissa also serves as an ideal setting for an outdoor wedding ceremony. We have seen beautiful shots of numerous wedding set-ups held in the grounds of the villa, complete with tropical blooms and tiffany chairs. We love the sigh of floating candlelights placed atop the pool, fot it casts a warm and romantic glow outdoors as nightfall beckons…
